Rain showers will persist this morning for the western half of the forecast area as a mid-level trough squeezes through two mid-level highs to its north and southwest. The system looks to be to our south by 15Z and precipitation chances are projected to tank by then. Cloud cover will still be extensive but will gradually clear out by Thursday night.
