Above normal temperatures will be likely this coming week as a broad 5H ridge intensifies over the region. Hot temperatures arrive by Monday with much of the Piedmont reaching into the mid 90s, and peaking by Wednesday with highs in the upper 90s in the east and upper 80s and low 90s in the mountains. As expected with ridging overhead, limited rain chances expected through much of the week.
