Issued at 1213 PM CDT Sun Sep 6 2026- A Heat Advisory remains in effect this evening through 8:00 PM. Heat indices ranging from 100 to 110, and actual high temperatures ranging from 98 to 104 are expected. Also, a weak frontal boundary will serve as a focus for a few thunderstorms over northern Mississippi this afternoon.
