Updated at 530 PM MDT Fri Aug 21 2026- Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the higher terrain on Saturday. Thunderstorm chances will diminish rapidly this weekend as upper level high pressure builds closer to the area.
- Above normal temperatures across southern New Mexico and far west Texas through the week ahead. Lowland highs will be in the upper 90s to lower 100s, which will approach daily records.
