Key Messages
- A late season heat wave continues through at least Saturday with peak heat index values of 100-105F+ along/south of I-70. Areas just north of I-70 have been added to the Heat Advisory, and the rest of the advisory has been extended to Saturday.
- Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon. These storms are not expected to strong enough to produce severe weather, though small hail, gusty winds, and brief heavy downpours are possible.
