Early afternoon GOES satellite imagery reveals mostly clear skies across Upper Michigan save for a bubbling cu field in the western interior. Very light radar returns <25 dbz have been observed in the last hour where maybe some sprinkles or very light rain may be reaching the surface, but the majority of CAMs haven`t latched onto the idea of any precipitation occuring out that way, so added some 15% PoPs for a very brief shower through the evening. Given ongoing dry air advection, suspecting the area will remain precip free. A few light rain showers may be seen in the Keweenaw this afternoon/evening as showers currently crossing Isle Royale journey southeast across the lake. Otherwise with increasing high pressure and dry air in place, temperatures tonight could be rather chilly especially for the interior. Opting to continue the trend of erring on the lower side of guidance for overnight lows- 50s lakeshores and 40s elsewhere with pockets of upper 30s in the typical cool spots of the interior. Patchy fog and or developing stratus may keep some locations warmer than expected.
