• A cold front pushing into the area from the north tonight will bring numerous showers and thunderstorms. A few strong to severe storms will be possible, especially west of I-65. Damaging winds and localized flash flooding are the main threats with storms.
• Additional low (<20%) chances for showers and storms are possible through Saturday night, though most should remain dry after Thursday morning. Temperatures should be seasonable to slightly below normal through early next week.

VFR conditions should be predominant through this evening. Though a light a shower could bring a brief ceiling or visibility drop into the MVFR category at HNB or SDF this afternoon, the probability was too low to warrant a prob30 in the TAFs. The higher chances for impacts will be late this evening and overnight, when scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around. Several high resolution models are now hinting at a bowing line of storms across southern Kentucky during the late evening/early overnight, so gusty winds were also added to the prob30 group at BWG. HREF probabilities climb to 50-70% for MVFR (or lower) ceilings at each of the airfields as low clouds develop in the wake of the storms early tomorrow morning.
