...Today through Tuesday...Tropical Storm Rachel, about 500 miles southwest of San Diego as of 8 AM MST, is quickly moving northward as it begins to be pulled northward by an upper-level low off the California coast. As this occurs, tropical moisture is expected to increase across much of Arizona through the day. PHX ACARS profiles have already begun to show around a 0.2 inch increase in PWATs this morning vs yesterday afternoon.
