Northeastern Fillmore County in southeastern Minnesota
Northern Houston County in southeastern Minnesota
Southern Winona County in southeastern Minnesota
Southern La Crosse County in west central Wisconsin
WHEN
Until 1100 PM CDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 755 PM CDT, thunderstorms continue to move east across parts of southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and west central Wisconsin.Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
La Crosse, La Crescent, Onalaska, Holmen, West Salem, Rushford, Bangor, Houston, Hokah, Dakota, Brice Prairie, French Island, La Crosse Airport, Medary, New Hartford, Rushford Village, Saratoga, Mound Prairie, Money Creek and Rockland. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

This Afternoon and Tonight Pockets of heavy rain this afternoon into Tuesday morning could lead to localized flooding of poor drainage areas and river rises.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday Additional rounds of heavy rain are possible Thursday into the weekend, but confidence remains low on the exact timing and location of where this rain will occur.
