This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and Tonight Areas of frost are expected tonight, especially for inland portions of the Minnesota Arrowhead and north-central Wisconsin where low temperatures are forecast to fall into the low to middle 30s. Frost Advisories are in effect for areas expected to see the coldest temperatures.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday Isolated to scattered embedded thunderstorms are forecast on Monday into Monday night. A few storms could become strong Monday afternoon into the early evening, with small hail of half an inch or less in diameter being the primary concern. Locally heavy rainfall occurring from the widespread precipitation on Monday into Monday night could lead to ponding on low-lying surfaces.

Areas inland from Lake Superior have the greatest risk of frost formation tonight. That includes southern portions of Douglas and Bayfield counties. Areas around Superior are less likely to experience frost. Some of the typical colder spots in inland northwest Wisconsin may drop to around or slightly below freezing for a couple hours around sunrise Monday morning.
