DAY ONE
This Afternoon and Tonight A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Blue Ridge Mountains until 3PM for one to three inches of heavy, wet snow. Elsewhere, a slushy coating is possible mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Friday through Wednesday A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Blue Ridge Mountains Friday into Friday night. Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible, which could lead to isolated wind damage and power outages. Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds are possible Monday.
