Tonight A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 9 PM for portions of northern Virginia, far eastern West Virginia, and Maryland, with the main threat being damaging winds. A few strong to severe thunderstorms could affect the rest of the area as well. An isolated instance of flash flooding is also possible.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday Scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday, especially in the afternoon and evening. Locally damaging wind gusts and isolated instances of flash flooding are possible.
