Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Weber, southeastern Cache, east central Box Elder, southern Rich, north central Davis, northern Morgan and northwestern Uinta Counties through 1030 PM MDT
At 946 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Marriott-Slaterville to 20 miles west of Evanston. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include
Ogden, Layton, Hill Air Force Base, Roy, Clearfield, Syracuse, Clinton, North Ogden, South Ogden, Washington Terrace, Riverdale, Hooper, South Weber, Willard, Marriott-Slaterville, Uintah, Mantua, Woodruff, Weber State University, and South Willard. This includes the following highways
Interstate 15 between mile markers 335 and 356. Interstate 84 between mile markers 82 and 97.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for northern Utah
