WEATHER ALERT
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. No hazardous weather is anticipated at this time.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. Rain will increase across the Four State Region beginning as early as Tuesday and especially Wednesday into Thursday as Tropical Storm Francine makes landfall along the Gulf Coast. Two to four inches of rainfall, which could be heavy at times, will be possible across South Central Arkansas and much of Northeast and North Central Louisiana. This may result in a threat for flooding. In addition, gusty winds will be possible, and a couple of tornadoes cannot be ruled out, especially northeast and east of the center of Francine. The hazardous weather threat from Francine should end Thursday afternoon.
