Southwestern Hidalgo County in deep south Texas
WHEN
Until 1100 PM CDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways due to heavy rainfall and runoff. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 905 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1.2 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Mission, Pharr, San Juan, Palmview, Palmhurst, Sharyland, South McAllen, Mission Regional Medical Center, Castro Elementary School, Sharyland High School, Mission Fire Station Number 3, Lloyd & Dolly Bentsen Elementary School, Veterans Memorial High School, Madero, Brown Middle School, B.l. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways due to heavy rainfall and runoff. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 830 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
