Until 700 AM CDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 357 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain along a line from Balch Springs to Royse City. Radar estimates up to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen in the past hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible. Minor flooding of roads and low lying areas could occur this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
East Dallas, Garland, Mesquite, Rowlett, Rockwall, Balch Springs, Forney, Royse City, Heath, Fate, Sunnyvale, Mobile City, McLendon-Chisholm and Lake Ray Hubbard.

At 33 feet, Minor flooding along the river is expected. Bike trails along the river will have floodwaters several feet deep, and the parking lot of Trammel Crow Park beneath the Sylvan bridge will flood. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 30 feet. - Forecast
The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.5 feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Bankfull stage is 30 feet. - Flood stage is 30 feet. && LAT
