George Spring Tank Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening favoring the northern combined Texas & Oklahoma Panhandles. Storms could produce gusty winds and lightning, which potentially could start a few fires. An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for Palo Duro Canyon and portions of the far southeastern Texas Panhandle for temperatures near 110 degrees. A Heat Advisory is in effect for most of the central and eastern combined Panhandles for temperatures between 105 and 109 degrees.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday. Heat Advisories will likely be continued through early next week. Chances of thunderstorms increase through mid next week, primarily in the evening hours. The chance for severe weather is low at this time, but can`t be ruled out.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
