Dry Tank Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. A Heat Advisory is in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM this evening for the far southeastern Texas Panhandle and Rolling Plains. High temperatures of up to 109 degrees are expected. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across the South Plains and far southwestern Texas Panhandle this afternoon and evening. While the threat for severe storms is low, a storm or two could produce wind gusts up to 70 mph and heavy downpours.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Hot temperatures in excess of 105 degrees will be possible for areas off the Caprock through early next week.
