PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&

DAY ONE
Tonight and Tuesday. A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles for Tuesday where high temperatures may reach 105 degrees.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Dangerous heat continues through Thursday for various portions of the Panhandles. Increased chances for thunderstorms in the Panhandles Friday though Sunday. Severe chances remain low at this time.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
