This Afternoon and Tonight. No hazardous weather is expected.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. Elevated to critical Fire Weather on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Friday looks to be widespread critical and is the highest day of concern with respect to the Fire Weather. Slight chance of thunderstorms in the southeast Panhandles on Tuesday, with a very low chance a severe storm due to large hail. A low chance of severe storms in the central and eastern Texas Panhandle on Thursday, but if the pattern for severe weather holds together, there is the potential for all hazards.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation may be needed on Thursday for severe weather. Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for elevated or critical fire weather conditions Tuesday, Thursday, and especially Friday.
