Portions of southwest North Carolina, including the following areas, Cherokee and Clay and east Tennessee, including the following areas, Bledsoe, Bradley, East Polk, Hamilton, Marion, Meigs, Rhea, Sequatchie and West Polk. WHEN

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Hurricane Isaias is expected to bring moderate to heavy rainfall to the area early Saturday morning through early Sunday. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected with locally heavier amounts. DAY ONE
Today and Tonight The remnants of Hurricane Isaias will move into the region through the day. High winds are likely over the Tennessee mountains and foothills, southwestern North Carolina, and portions of southwest Virginia. Breezy conditions are also likely area-wide. Locally heavy rainfall could also lead to isolated flooding, mainly in the southern Plateau, southeast Tennessee, and southwest North Carolina with a Flood Watch in effect.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday Winds and rainfall will decrease on Sunday with no hazardous weather expected afterwards.
