Sharping Lake Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Thunderstorms continue this morning. Some may be strong to severe producing heavy rain, wind gusts to 65 mph, and hail to the size of a quarter. Some patchy fog will reduce visibility through mid morning east of I-29. Heat and humidity lead to heat index values around 100 degrees again this afternoon and evening.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday. Hot and humid conditions are expected through the holiday weekend. Heat Index values will be in the 90s to around 100 during the afternoon. Please apply heat safety to your outdoor activities. Periods of isolated to scattered thunderstorms remain possible through the holiday weekend into the work week. A stronger storm or two are possible but widespread severe weather is not expected.
