This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Tonight. Showers and a few thunderstorms will develop west of the James River late tonight. Theses storms are not expected to be severe, with lightning being the main hazard.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible after 4pm Monday with risks continuing through midnight. A few severe storms capable of golf ball size hail, 60 mph winds and a very low tornado risk will be possible. Scattered thunderstorm risks will continue through Wednesday. Severe storm risks will be focused mostly on Tuesday morning and afternoon along and south of I-90.
