This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. There is a Slight Risk (level 2 out of 5) for severe thunderstorms later this evening into the overnight hours. Large hail 1 to 2+ inches in diameter and thunderstorm wind gusts of 65 to 80 mph are possible.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Monday through Saturday. There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe thunderstorms Monday evening into late Monday night, mainly along and south of a line from Eagle Butte to Pierre to Gann Valley. Large hail up to an inch in diameter and thunderstorm wind gusts up to 65 mph are possible. There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe thunderstorms from Tuesday evening into late Tuesday night. Large hail up to an inch in diameter and thunderstorm wind gusts up to 65 mph are possible.
