Midway Church Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms should increase in coverage across central South Dakota later this afternoon into early evening. A few of these storms may become severe with hail to the size of golf balls and wind gusts to 70 mph possible. During the evening into the early overnight hours, the storms may organize into a line with more widespread wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph possible from southeast South Dakota into northeast Nebraska, southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Periodic thunderstorm chances continue through Thursday with spotty rain chances potentially into the weekend. Severe weather is not expected or should remain very isolated. Heat will build into the area with heat indices from 90 to 100 Thursday through Saturday.

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon into tonight.
