This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Storms into mid Tuesday morning may produce wind gusts to 55 mph and locally heavy rainfall. Locally heavy rain may lead to isolated flash flooding. An isolated strong storm is possible between 3 PM and 8 PM southeast of a Sloan to Cherokee line. Main threats are quarter sized hail and wind gusts to 60 mph, in addition to locally heavy rain.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Storm chances return to the area Friday night and through the upcoming weekend. Confidence in details is low, but a few stronger storms are possible Friday night into Saturday.
