This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota, central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. There is a Marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for storms to become severe through late this evening. Most of these storms will be elevated with the primary threats of around 1 inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. There could be some surface based convection from late this afternoon through late this evening, with a large hail and damaging wind threat, as well as the potential for a tornado or two.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
