This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through about daybreak this morning mainly along the Missouri River Valley and the Highway-20 corridor. A few storms could become severe with 60 mph winds and quarter sized hail being the main hazards. Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight mainly south of I-90. A few stronger storms could produce wind gusts up to 60 mph and quarter sized hail.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Thursday through Tuesday. Periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms continue every night through Wednesday. A few storms could become strong to severe.
