At 704 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Cedar Creek Rec Area, or 14 miles north of Presho, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota, central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. There is a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for isolated to scattered severe storms this afternoon and evening. Main threats are large hail, 1 to 2 inches in diameter, and wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph. A tornado or two is possible east of a line from Murdo to Redfield to Sisseton. Brief heavy rainfall is also possible with any thunderstorm. Additional thunderstorm activity is possible late tonight into the morning hours Tuesday. There is a lower risk of severe weather during this period, however we can`t rule out hail to 1 inches and wind gusts around 60 mph.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 out 5) for an isolated severe storm along and south of a line from Pierre to Watertown during the morning Tuesday. Main threats include 1 inch diameter hail and wind gusts around 60 mph.
