Bennett School Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and southeast South Dakota.
DAY ONE
Today and tonight. Southerly surface winds will strengthen throughout the day with wind gusts between 30-40 mph expected for most areas. Slightly stronger wind speeds will be possible across southwestern MN. A conditional chance for stronger storms is expected this afternoon and evening. If storms can develop, all modes of severe weather will be possible. However, 2 inch hail and damaging winds up to 70 mph will be the primary threats.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Saturday through Thursday. Strong to severe storms will be possible again Sunday evening into early Monday morning. Additional rain chances will be possible heading into the midweek.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT
Spotter activation may be needed east of I-29 from 3pm-10pm.
