Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina
Dorchester County in southeastern South Carolina
WHEN
Until 645 PM EDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 515 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall over North Charleston. Up to 2 inches of rain has fallen and an additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 645 PM, resulting in urban flooding. If heavy rainfall does not weaken soon, a Flash Flood Warning may be needed. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, I-26/I-526 Interchange, Naval Weapons Station Charleston, Ladson, Daniel Island, Charleston Airport and Magnolia Gardens.
