At 900 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles south of Hendersonville, or near Pleasant Ridge State Park, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include
Tigerville, Pleasant Ridge State Park, Saluda, Jones Gap State Park, Gowensville, North Saluda Reservoir, Glassy Mountain, and Cleveland.

Tonight. Scattered thunderstorms will develop ahead of a cold front through late tonight. There is a low-end threat for isolated severe storms to develop through the early evening hours. The main hazard with any severe storm that manages to develop is damaging wind gusts.
