Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 404 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Aiken, North Augusta, Batesburg-Leesville, Clearwater, Belvedere, Ridge Spring, Aiken Municipal Airport, Edgefield County Airport, USC Aiken, Graniteville, Gloverville, Dreher Island State Park, Burnettown, Gilbert, Summit, Monetta, Trenton, Ward and Hibernia. - This includes the following highways

At 350 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Aiken Municipal Airport, or 13 miles north of Aiken, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD

Lexington, Irmo, Batesburg-Leesville, VC Summer Nuclear Station, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, St. Andrews, Johnston, Ridge Spring, Jenkinsville, Edgefield County Airport, Harbison State Forest, Dreher Island State Park, Ballentine, Aiken Municipal Airport, Blythewood, Chapin, Gilbert, Summit, Little Mountain, and Monetta. This includes the following highways

FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR EAST CENTRAL COLUMBIA, NORTH CENTRAL RICHMOND, WEST CENTRAL AIKEN AND SOUTH CENTRAL EDGEFIELD COUNTIES
At 344 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in intersection of Wheeler Rd and Highland in Augusta and I-20 Exit 1 is closed due to being flooded. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD
