FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR EAST CENTRAL COLUMBIA, NORTH CENTRAL RICHMOND, WEST CENTRAL AIKEN AND SOUTH CENTRAL EDGEFIELD COUNTIES
At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in intersection of Wheeler Rd and Highland in Augusta . Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen, with little additional rainfall expected. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD

Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include
North Augusta, Evans, Belvedere, Augusta, Martinez, Clearwater, Augusta National Golf Club, Summerville, Midtown, Daniel Field, Glendale, Village at Riverwatch Shopping Center, Savannah Bluffs Heritage Preserve, Eisenhower Park, Savannah Rapids Park, Poverty Hill, Westover Memorial Park and West End Augusta. This includes the following highways
Interstate 520 in South Carolina between mile markers 18 and 23. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 0 and 6. Interstate 20 in Georgia between mile markers 196 and 201. Interstate 520 in Georgia between mile markers 1 and 2.

- At 404 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
