Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 1007 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of heavy rainfall extending from Canadys to Walterboro over to Round 0. As much as 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen this morning. An additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 1130 AM, resulting in minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Walterboro, Cottageville, Round O, Canadys, Sidney, Hiotts, Lowcountry Regional Airport, Colleton Medical Center, Thayer and Rhodes Crossroads.

Portions of southeast Georgia, including the following areas, Bulloch, Candler, Coastal Bryan, Coastal Chatham, Coastal Liberty, Coastal McIntosh, Effingham, Evans, Inland Bryan, Inland Chatham, Inland Liberty, Inland McIntosh, Jenkins, Long, Screven and Tattnall and southeast South Carolina, including the following areas, Allendale, Beaufort, Charleston, Coastal Colleton, Coastal Jasper, Dorchester, Hampton, Inland Berkeley, Inland Colleton, Inland Jasper and Tidal Berkeley. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Bands of heavy rainfall will spread across southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina throughout the day. Widespread rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts of 3 to 6 inches possible. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour will be possible within the heaviest rain bands. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued. Be prepared to protect life and property, especially in areas prone to flooding.
