FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL AIKEN, EAST CENTRAL EDGEFIELD, WEST CENTRAL LEXINGTON AND EASTERN SALUDA COUNTIES
At 757 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD

Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include
Batesburg-Leesville, Ridge Spring, Summit, Monetta, Ward, Hibernia, Kneece, Fredonia, Delmar, Circle Fire Station, Murray, Cedar Grove Fire Station, South Shore Marina, Riverbend Boat Ramp, Lake Murray Shores, Hollow Creek Public Park, Oswald Park, Siesta Cove Marina and Shull Island. This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 24 and 32.
