Strong School Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Ohio, northeast Ohio, northwest Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania.
DAY ONE
This afternoon and tonight. A slow moving low pressure system will enter the region. Rain across the region tonight could be efficient and locally heavy, which could allow for some localized flooding where storms align. Portions of Northwest and North Central Ohio are in a WPC Slight Risk of Excessive Rainfall.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Sunday through Friday. The low pressure system will continue to slowly progress east through the Ohio Valley on Sunday. Rain on the north side of this low could produce locally heavy rainfall and pose a flash flood risk. Most of the area is in a WPC Slight Risk of Excessive Rainfall for Sunday. In addition to the rain, strong to severe storms are also possible with the system on Sunday. The main storm concerns for Sunday will be strong to damaging wind gusts and even a low end concern for a tornado.
