Texas County Weather Advisory
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.
DAY ONE
Tonight and Tuesday. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected in the western Oklahoma Panhandle this afternoon and evening. Main threat from any storms will be lightning and strong wind gusts.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Wednesday through Monday. Thunderstorm chances increase along and behind a cold front Wednesday and Thursday, with locally heavy rainfall and severe wind gusts the primary hazards. Storms will be disorganized and pulsy in nature Wednesday. There may be a greater chance for more longer lived severe storms Thursday is things com together well and the atmosphere is able to recover from Wednesday`s activity. Temperatures will remain above normal through the weekend. A slight chance for thunderstorms will remain with gusty winds remaining the main threat from any stronger storms.
