This Afternoon and Tonight. DISCUSSION
Scattered light to locally moderate rain showers continue mainly along and south of Interstate 40 this afternoon with lesser potential northward up toward Interstate 44. Instability was mostly south of the Red River, and as such lightning potential should remain less than 10 percent. Rain chances begin to sag southward this evening and tonight, and should exit by early Sunday morning while a weak frontal boundary moves through the region.
