Hot and dry conditions continue today across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Heat indices up to 107 degrees are forecast in the Arkansas River Valley as well as near the Tulsa metro this afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect between noon and 8 PM as a result. Near persistent weather will continue over the next several days with no rain expected and afternoon heat indices between 100 and 109 degrees.
