Unseasonably warm temperatures, low humidity values, and light to breezy winds will produce localized higher grassland fire spread rates through this afternoon. Winds will increase further Sunday and Monday which will increase grassland fire spread rates and raise fire weather concerns for portions of the region. Thunderstorm chances increase late Tuesday and become more widespread Wednesday through Thursday. Severe weather and locally heavy rain potential may develop during this time frame.
