Elevated fire weather danger is ongoing this afternoon across much of the area due to gusty northeast winds and low humidity. A cold front will continue to move through southeast Oklahoma this afternoon and will increase the fire weather danger overnight there, especially near the ridge tops. Northeast winds gusting around 30 mph and humidity in the 20 to 25 percent range will lead to potential for rapid grassland fire spread. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for parts of northeast Oklahoma through 7 PM. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT
