Heat advisory conditions will continue through early evening across portions of eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas, especially across southeast Oklahoma where heat indices will approach 110 degrees this afternoon. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are forecast to develop from late evening through the overnight hours across northeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Thunderstorms are likely to be ongoing Monday morning across far eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas before ending by early afternoon. Hot temperatures are likely to develop across portions of the region by Monday afternoon and heat advisories may be required. The hot weather expands and intensifies on Tuesday.
