Unseasonably warm temperatures and gusty winds will persist and continue to promote grassland fire weather conditions through sunset this evening, especially across northeast Oklahoma. Any fire starts could spread quickly. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT

Gusty south winds will continue on Monday and will again increase grassland fire weather concerns. Thunderstorm chances increase Tuesday night with widespread showers and thunderstorms forecast Wednesday through Thursday. Heavy rainfall amounts may occur, especially across northeast Oklahoma, raising the potential for localized flooding and flash flooding. A limited threat for severe weather may also develop.
