Heat stress will increase by mid week and continue into the weekend. Afternoon heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees will be common and outdoor activities should plan for heat safety precautions. Thunderstorm chances increase for late week primarily Thursday and Friday. The timing and location of the higher rain chances does remain uncertain, however late week temperatures could be slightly cooler at times and later forecasts will adjust as confidence increases. weather.gov/tulsa contains additional information.
