This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central Ohio, northeast Ohio and northwest Ohio.

This afternoon and tonight. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
Tuesday through Sunday. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Heat Advisory. The potential for strong to severe thunderstorms will increase midweek.

WHAT
Peak heat index values ranging from the upper 90s to lower 100s Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Overnight lows in the low to mid 70s will provide for limited nighttime relief from the heat. WHERE

Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Hot and humid conditions will continue on Thursday, and portions of the Heat Advisory may need to be extended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
