FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR SOUTHWESTERN SOCORRO COUNTY
At 408 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms producing heavy rain in the San Mateo Mountains west of Bosque Del Apache had ended, but light was persisting. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD

- At 229 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms immediately east of Magdalena. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
