FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR SOUTH CENTRAL MERCER, NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON AND SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS COUNTIES
At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches have fallen with the heavy rainfall that moved through the area this afternoon. There have also been multiple reports of road flooding. The heaviest rain has tapered off at this time but it will still take some time for the waters to fully recede so the Flash Flood Warning remains in effect. There may also be some additional showers moving through the area through early this evening. HAZARD

Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include
Trenton, Ewing, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Bordentown, Yardley, Tullytown, Langhorne, Pemberton, Wrightstown and Columbus. This includes the following highways
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 48 and 66. New Jersey Turnpike between exits 6 and 7A. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 5. Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 356 and 359.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
