Bergen County in northeastern New Jersey
Northern Essex County in northeastern New Jersey
Hudson County in northeastern New Jersey
Eastern Passaic County in northeastern New Jersey
New York (Manhattan) County in southeastern New York
WHEN
Until 1145 AM EDT. IMPACTS
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 927 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include
Paterson, Passaic, Wayne, Bloomfield, Hackensack, Bergenfield, Paramus, Ridgewood, Lyndhurst, Rutherford, Secaucus, Ridgefield, Caldwell, Harlem, Fort Lee, Englewood, Hawthorne, Oradell, Fairfield and Norwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely. && LAT
