Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- At 257 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected. - Some locations that could experience flooding include
Newark, Paterson, Passaic, Wayne, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, Linden, Orange, Bergenfield, Paramus, Ridgewood, Summit, Lyndhurst, Millburn, Rutherford, Secaucus, Ramsey, Ringwood and Pompton Lakes. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
